Darrin Rose is one of the stars of the CBC sitcom Mr. D, where he plays Bill. Previously, he starred in the YTV pilot The Classroom. He appears regularly on Canadian national television on shows such as MuchMusic’s Video On Trial and TSN’s Off the Record. He has shot two dozen commercials.

In addition to acting, Darrin is an internationally touring stand-up comic. He was nominated for Canadian Comedy Awards as Best Male Stand-Up in 2011 and Best Newcomer in 2007. His half hour stand-up special aired on CTV in 2011. He has played Just for Laughs, the Halifax Comedy Festival and the Edinburgh Comedy Festival, where his one man show received four stars. He has been nominated for two Canadian Screenwriting Awards for comedy.
